Along with the Hub Saver that saves your vehicles hub and wheel from leaving your trailer when a bearing goes, through Alumafab, we can provide an overview of the damage done to your trailer when involved in an accident.  Unfortunately, many insurance companies do not have a professional who knows aluminum built trailers and how much damage can be done even in a small "fender bender". 

At Alumafab, we have a professional, certified aircraft mechanic on staff who knows aluminum and how damage can impact the trailer - whether you have a car carrier, multi-horse trailer, or other small aluminum trailer, etc., this professional is able to identify weld fretting issues, warped and waved aluminum sides, bent or warped aluminum frames, etc., and can make sure that any damage is called out and quoted for repair. 

One customer had a larger enclosed car hauler that they were using to move a household long distance.  While in congested traffic, a driver slammed on their brakes for no reason, causing a SUV to ram into the back of them and the truck/car hauler hitting the back of the SUV.  Luckily, traffic was only moving slowly and no one was hurt.  However, the car hauler (and dually truck) was damaged extensively. On the car hauler, all the welds were in jeopardy, sides rippled, and frame bent.  It was a situation where the car hauler was no longer safe to use.
